Manufacturing Engineer I – Job DescriptionPosition Summary:The manufacturing engineer will develop, optimize, and document manufacturing processes in fast paced aerospace fastener manufacturing environment. Knowledge in manufacturing processes and CAD tools with 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience.Primary Duties & Responsibilities:· Document current cold heading and hot forge processes.· Optimize production process with lean tools. (i.e., Six Sigma)· Ensure products meet aerospace standards and customer specifications with first article support.· Implement tooling cost reduction.· Strong problem-solving & analytical skills.· Update process drawings and tooling drawings with Solidworks or Autocad.· Create work instructions and production in-process standards.· Collaborate cross‑functional with quality and production teams.· Manage multiple projects & deliver high‑quality results on schedule.Required Skills:· Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering, or other related discipline.· High Energy, self-motivated, self-started, & team player.· Excellent interpersonal skills working with all departments.· Proficient in MS Excel, Power Point & Word.· Knowledge in Solidworks and Autocad is preferred.· Basic knowledge in manufacturing processes with CNC lathe and mill is preferred.· Hands-on manual lathe and mill is preferred.Work Environment:· Comply with and enforce FIT HSE policies.· Able to lift 30 lbs.· Spend 4+ on production floor daily.· Perform production setup when needed.Mfg Eng AUDCompton90220
